I saw the painting fully formed in my head as I was walking to my car.

It is Christ transcended from the cross, the shadow of the empty cross

behind and above, the Eternal Jesus face inside the wave.

The giant wave representing the life force enveloping Christ on the cross

with the blood heart inside the tube as it is our life force here and Jesus in the wave

is our life eternity which is the mystery of faith and God's promise.
